$49 Enroll

Full course description

Kindness and Compassion are deeply rooted in human nature–our first impulse is to cooperate rather than compete. When we really listen to one another, and react with compassion and kindness, creativity and problem-solving flourish. Join this supportive community to create a school and/or classroom culture in which compassion and kindness create an environment where everyone feels a deep sense of belonging.

Why Join?

  • Learn how to cultivate a community based on compassion and kindness.
  • Encourage a sense of belonging in schools and classrooms.
  • Connect with others to share insights and strategies for a meaningful impact.

What’s Included:

  • Three 90-minute facilitated sessions with the Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley
  • A deep dive into the science of compassion and kindness with a small group of like-minded educators from around the world
  • Resources and takeaways to apply directly in your school and/or classroom

When to Attend:

Each week we will offer three opportunities to engage in a community of practice—please join one session each week on the day/time that works best for you:

  • Tuesdays: March 10, 17, 24 (3:30 - 5:00 pm PT)
  • Wednesdays: March 11, 18, 25 (2:00 - 3:30 pm PT)
  • Thursdays: March 12, 19, 26 (9:00 - 10:30 am PT)
